Professor  Vasilios Georgakilas is a chemist with PhD in Organic Chemistry. He started working with fullerenes and carbon nanotubes as a Post Doc in the Lab of Prof Maurizio Prato at the University of Trieste (Italy).

Christos Priovolos

Christos Priovolos is a Mechanical Engineer with a MSc in Environmental Protection and Technology.  He is a PhD candidate. His main field of research is advanced materials for environmental science and engineering.

 

 

 

Christos Fragkogiannis

Christos Fragkogiannis is a Materials Scientist and Master’s student in Polymer and Composite Materials Science and Technology, Department of Chemical Engineering. His research interests are the chemical modification of nanomaterials, the production of nanocomposites with applications in electromagnetic shielding and sensors.

Dimitris Patouchas

 

Dimitris Patouchas is a Material Scientist and Master’s student in Material Science and Technology, Department of Material Science. His main field of research is the chemical modification of graphene and graphene derivatives.

 

 

 

Panagiota Kokkinopoulou

Panagiota Kokkinopoulou is a Physicist and currently is a Materials Science MSc student in Advanced Functional Nanomaterials. Her research field is Iron Oxides and synthesis of 2D Non Wan der Waals material using Iron Oxides such as specularite for industrial use and plenty of applications.

Eleni Tegkelidi

 

Eleni Tegkelidi is a Materials Scientist and Master’s student in Advanced Functional Materials at the University of Patras, Greece. Her main field of research is the chemical modification of nanomaterials using enviromentally friendly methods (green chemistry).

 

 

 

 

George Florakis

 

George Florakis is a Material Science graduate and a Master’s student in Advanced Functional Materials at the University of Patras, Greece. His research interests include: Enviromentally friendly production of 2D nanomaterials, manipulation of nanomaterials driven by light and 3D printing.
