NanoChemistry Lab (NC Lab) focuses on developing novel carbon based nanostructured and hybrid materials. Research pursued concerns the synthesis and functionalization of Carbon Nanostructured Materials (Graphene, Nanotubes, fullerenes, carbon dots, new carbon allotropes) and hybrids and their application in catalysis, solar cells, energy storage, optoelectronics, printed electronics, sensors, biomedical research. Research approach is interdisciplinary and covers chemistry and engineering aspects of materials. Work is extended through various collaborations with national and international research groups. Our research aims at providing new materials for applications that could contribute to the protection of the environment and the improvement of the human living conditions.
